Das ist das typische Herbstbild vorm Superstore: Unmengen Kuerbisse fuer Halloween oder zum Essen (wobei hier irgendwie niemand sie suess-sauer einlegt, merkwuerdig). Halloween ist zwar noch was hin, aber es gibt schon Kostueme etc.pp., und das ist auch ok. Aber was ich auch gesehen (nicht fotografiert!) habe, waren grosse Deko-Weihnachtsmaenner – gruselig!

Typical for this time of year in front of Superstore (and other supermarkets, of course): big bins of pumpkins for Halloween or maybe for eating. Surprisingly for me, it is not common here to make sweet-and-sour pickles with them – my favourite! You can also find costumes and accessories for halloween. It’s still a month away, but I guess that’s ok. What I found almost scary, well, at least totally not in season, were giant Santa ornaments for well over a thousand bucks!
