Der North Thompson River, auf der Hinfahrt sechs Mal ueberquert, hat hier schon diese wunderbare‎ graugruene Farbe, wie ich sie auch beim Athabasca River so toll finde. Der Wald veraendert sich, wir fahren ganz langsam bergan, und die Huegel sind schon fast Berge. Auf in die Rockies!

The North Thompson River – which we crossed six times on our way down – already‎ has this particular grey-green that I love in my favourite Athabasca river. The forest is beginning to look different, the hills are almost mountains, and we are very slowly going up and up.
