Der Wetterbericht hatte dann mal recht. Es schneit, und im Moment sieht es nicht so aus, als ob es aufhoeren will. Also erstmal alle versorgen und dann selbst fruehstuecken.
The forecast was right, for a change. It’s snowing, and right now it doesn’t look like it wants to quit anytime soon. So breakfast for the animals first and then for me.

Leider weht auch der Wind von Nordosten, und es ist wirklich usselig. Fruehling ist trotzdem, das sieht man am Dugout, der Schwimmspuren von Bisam und Enten hat.
It’s blowing from the northeast, and really miserable. And yet, it’s spring, as can be seen from the trails in the slush on the dugout, made by muskrat and ducks.

Farben gibt es noch nicht viele in der Landschaft, das ist sehr beruhigend fuer die Augen.

Derweil macht Ludwig das, was der Chef „liederliche Landschaftsgaertnerei“ nennt: er dreht die Grassoden um und schafft eine Mondlandschaft. Da muessen sicher die Lamas mit ihren Gummifuessen drauf, um das zu reparieren.
Meanwhile, Ludwig does his „lousy landscaping“ as the boss calls it: he turns the grass sods and creates a crater landscape. I suppose it will take the lamas‘ rubber-padded feet to fix that.

Im Honeyhouse gibt es neue Geraetschaften. Die Imkertochter wird eine Idee haben, wofuer das komplizierte kleine Maschinchen gedacht ist. Auf der Hobelmaschine werden Bretter fuer Moebel und Waende produziert. Und so ganz nebenbei „Klospuelung“.
In the honey house, there is new stuff. My beekeeping daughter will have an idea what the complicated little gadget is supposed to be for. The planer is being used to make boards for furniture and partitions in the house. And in the process also, toilet „flushing material“.

Und waehrend ich schreibe, sind die Pferdedamen mit dem Fruehstueck fertig und muessen sich mal so richtig austoben.
And while I am writing, the horses are done with their breakfast and have to let off a lot of steam.
